Eklund Service Door

This service door is to Eklund's Ready To Wear Building in the Ransom Block of downtown Burlington. Now owned by The Farmers and Merchants Building Corporation, the building housed many prestigious businesses in its day. 213-215 and 217-219 Jefferson St, with its limestone foundation, walls of brick, and facade of aluminum, was home to dry goods and clothing stores, doctor and dentist offices, a pharmacy, specialty stores, and insurance offices.
