Gearhead Curios

Gearhead Curios housed in the restored Texaco filling Station. This station was constructed in 1939 along Route 66 and was open until 2000. The current owner of Gearhead Curios opened the shop in 2023, after 5 years of renovations. This is a must stop in Galena, KS with all the folklore, history, and stories one can gather along the historic Mother Road. As a bonus, there's a Big Boy statue and 1951 "Doc" Hudson Hornet to get your kicks on Route 66! (There are 13 miles of Route 66 in Kansas, connecting Missouri to Oklahoma.)
