Our imaginations could not have done justice to the breath-taking views. Starting at Mather Point, on the Orange Route, we walked along the south rim, toward Yavapai Point, watching the sun go down, and the Canyon change colors. At Yavapai Point is the Geology Museum, with magnificent vista views of the Canyon, along with plenty of informational stations inside the Museum. The etching on this window reads: "Do nothing to mar its grandeur for the ages have been at work on it and man cannot improve it. Keep it for your children, your children's children and all who come after you. -Theodore Roosevelt"
