Other Side of Grand Canyon

On Day 2 of our Grand Canyon exploration, we decided to drive to the various points along the rest of the Orange Route.  Along one side of the road there it was, the Grand Canyon, in all its splendor and glory.  Glowing rocks, varying in color and angle, as far as the eye could see were at every vista view stop.  But on the other side of the road, was nothing as beautiful and soul-stirring.  Broken trees, sparse forests, hardly anything to see truly.  At one point, my sister pulled over to the side of the road, and I asked her what we were doing.  She calmly replied, a smile growing on her face, "You like this stuff, right?", implying I would want to take photos of the non-canyon side of the road.  I laughed, snapped a few photos, and we continued on our trek, laughing all the way.
