Santa Monica Pier Historical Landmark Marker

The Santa Monica Pier Historical Landmark Marker. (Because I'm a big history buff, that's why!) It reads, “Santa Monica Municipal Pier Dedicated an Official Los Angeles County Historical Landmark May 1975”. It is at the far extreme of the pier, as far as you can walk before you walk off the pier and into the Pacific Ocean.
