Sundown in Santa Monica

I thought I wanted to watch the sun set from the Pier itself. But time didn't seem to want to allow me that opportunity. Instead, the pier wanted to show off itself at sunset. I do not regret not getting to the end of the pier. I would have missed these incredible views. I have many other sunsets over the ocean pictures from other places. But I will never again have the opportunity to capture the sun going down with the entire Santa Monica Pier in the shot. Thank you time. And thank you Pier. Lesson learned. Funny how things have a way of working out, despite your best planning...
