U Drop Inn

The U Drop Inn Cafe and The Tower Station is situated along Historic Route 66 in Shamrock, Texas. Built in 1936, the Conoco station provided fuel for travelers, and the cafe provided food for families. The building was restored in 2004, and in 2021 the U Drop Inn Cafe reopened, serving customers from around the world. The building itself is also featured in Pixar's movie Cars as Ramone's House of Body Art and was fantastic to photograph! Get your kicks on Route 66!
